Southside Restaurant 2928 Tennessee 66, Rogersville, TN 37857

"Went to order a to go order at 7pm website clearly states they close at 9. I went inside and got a menu from the server and told her my wife and I were going to look at the menu in our car and then place a to go order and I was told that was fine. After about 5 minutes of looking the menu over the lights turned off outside the restaurant, then when I went to go place our order I discovered they had also locked the doors. I tried knocking and no answer so I left the menu outside the door and called to let them know I would not be back and all I was told was oh sorry. Very unprofessional and they will not be receiving any of my family's business in the future."

"My wife and I decided to try Southside again since new owners took over. Boy are we glad we did. I had a bacon double cheeseburger with fries and my wife had a cheeseburger with fries. We also had a side of delicious broccoli and cheese bites. The food is delicious and well made! The service was excellent and prompt! I highly recommend trying this place for a delicious home style meal. We will definitely be going back again! Even the new owners are involved with your experience there as Danny was going around to the tables and asking customers if everything was good. That’s not something you see anymore. It shows that the new owners really care! Keep up the great work Southside Restaurant!!"

"My wife and I went here for breakfast a couple days ago and I just cannot stop thinking about our experience there. South side has really set our expectations high for any other restaurant that we go to. The service, food, atmosphere, cleanliness… all was 10/10. "We had good service and the waitress was very friendly. We had the Sunday special Chicken Pot pie with 3 sides. The meal was simple but good. The plates were big and we had to take the rest home. The apple cobbler was delicious with vanilla ice cream. This place reminds me of Stanley, New Brunswick Canada. Where everyone is friendly and they come up to see you to say hi. We will definitely be coming back!"

"I have had a positive dining experience every visit since it re-opened under new ownership. Service was quick, attentive and engaging. The food was excellent each time, kudos to the cook. Prices were reasonable so it's a definite must try. Bring the kids, it's a family type of atmosphere."
