"Very large selection of laptops, good prices and the staff was very friendly. My son and I were looking for a laptop good enough to handle his workload at SCAD, and Egypt helped us make the best decision for what he needed. She was extremely knowledgeable with the products, the available upgrades, and being a SCAD student herself; she was aware of the needs my son had for his course load. A great experience overall and my son is already raving about the upgraded laptop!"
"I miss the days when Best Buy had competition. Circuit City kept them in line. Customer service is average and the store is limited often in what's in stock. But they know there's no where else to go so who cares right. So far not a bad experience but not anything outstanding either."
"I am EXTREMELY upset and keep getting the run around. I purchased a Pioneer Bluetooth stereo for my son for Christmas about 2 weeks ago. I tried to get installation set up before Christmas but the 1st thing they had was 12/27/23, so I booked it. On Christmas Day at 4:46 p.m. I received an email about my 12/27/23 appointment that told me where he needed to go when he got there and what he needed to bring with him. After traveling an hour to get to the store, when he got there yesterday the door at vehicle installation was locked so he went inside to try to get someone to help him only to be told that they had rescheduled the appointment (without a phone call or email to us) for another 8 days away and that no one was available to install at the time we were told. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! One....he wasted 2 hours driving to and from an appointment for nothing in a truck that gets maybe 12 mpg, two...if you all had to be rescheduled because you didn't have any techs available, we would have had to accept that but we should have been notified of the new date and time and three...I called the number on the website to speak to a manager and 4 times I was transferred to someone different and had to explain to each one of them the problem....only to be told by last person that someone would call me back within 72 hours. Is this any way to treat your customers? If this wasn't something he wanted so badly or if there was another place closer to home, I would 100% cancel this order and buy elsewhere. It's absolutely ridiculous that you can't talk to anyone in the store if you have a problem and even more so that you can just change people's installation dates/times around without letting customers know and just assume that's ok. If we lived close by maybe this wouldn't have been such an issue but whoever rescheduled should have had the courtesy to reach out to us about this. It probably doesn't matter to a big store but I can promise you one thing...Best Buy will never see another dime from me. UPDATE: 10 days later & no phone call from anyone & they charged me $60 extra for a steering wheel plug in kit I couldn’t use & refused to refund it."
"I recently visited Best Buy in Savannah and had a great experience! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and I was able to find everything I needed quickly. The store was clean and well-organized, making my shopping experience a breeze. Overall, I highly recommend this Best Buy location to anyone in the area."
"Went into this store to purchase both a computer monitor and a tablet. Willing to spend top dollar on quality products but needed sales assistance. Walked all over looking for the monitors, passing several sales people, none of whom asked if they could help. Found the monitors and stood looking for help; even made a few circles in the area looking for help; nothing. Finally found a sales person behind a desk and asked for help - she told us she was the only one working the department and she had all this other stuff to do first (didn't even glance up at me). So my husband went to the front to ask for help. He came back and told me they were sending someone over. Maybe 5 or 10 minutes more pass and 2 other sales associates come walking back - but not to help me. Finally the gal behind the desk said we were next up in the queue. Several more minutes later another sales associate walked by and told us if we were waiting for help we should go stand in a line at the front of the store. We told him we'd been informed we were up next and he told us we'd be better off waiting in line. At which point we threw up our hands and left. I will never ever step foot into another Best Buy. If they don't want my money I will go elsewhere."
