"This was absolutely one of the worst Japanese restaurants, every time my family travels we are always looking for a good hibachi grill, and this time was definitely unsuccessful. We waited at least 20 minutes after we were seated to even have someone come take our order. The food came out quickly but was some of the worst chicken and rice I’ve ever tasted and that’s saying a lot. The sushi was good but that’s about all I can say about this place that was."

"Was very disappointed this time. Took entire family out before Christmas. Kids tried sushi and liked it. We got the two person special. The steak was extremely well done..ie: chewy....tough. The veggies were beautiful but tasteless. I added salt, pepper, soy sauce, n yum yum sauce, and was unable to flavor it. Our server was great! Very attentive and helpful. This is not typical of past experiences."

"Service and food is always excellent. 4/5 stars because after COVID they no longer do hibachi. I understand this is a safety precaution, which I can appreciate, however I feel as if the big grills are a wasted space, even with the seating around them."

"Sashimi plate was excellent (photo). The pieces of tuna, white fish, salmon and mackerel were fresh and delicious. The side bowl of rice was also exceptional. The bento box (photo) was average at best. Way, way too much cooked onions and cabbage as its feature, and way too little mushrooms and squash in the mix. The four sushi pieces of a California roll were OK. Two very small spring rolls were fine. The side salads sadly did not have peanut sauce offered; just in-house ginger sauce and American shelf dressings. The salads arrived much too drenched in ginger sauce (photo). The miso "soup" was actually a thin miso broth and nothing more; a real disappointment. The hot tea was good. The service was fine. The meals were priced on the high side for the region."

"The Ambiance: It’s nice here. They’ve got the restaurant set up with two sections. One for for the group cook tables, one for regular sitting tables. It’s pretty well laid out and comfortable. The Food: I was so happy when I tasted my sushi and it was nice and fresh. Sometimes when you get sushi far away from the ocean it can be a little... un-fresh. But I’m happy to report that I tried multiple types of sushi and it was all nice and fresh! The Service: Service was really great. We had a very sweet lady who checked on us several times to make sure that we had plenty of food."
