"Very tasty food! Have had chicken marsala and the pizza and the firecracker shrimp on different occasions. Thought I'd try the salmon this time. I wasn't disappointed! I was however disappointed to see a "checkout fee" on my receipt after using a Mad Greek gift card received as a Christmas present. It wasn't much but it just makes it that more frustrating to eat out at a nice (and increasingly expensive) restaurant."
"I have pretty high expectations when it comes to pizza coming from Illinois. This pizza is good. the crust wasn’t floppy. It had good flavor. The BLT was way better than I expected it to be. I thought that was an Illinois thing, but they proved me wrong on this one. The only thing I could suggest is when I get something with bacon I want more bacon than a couple slivers here and there for the price that you’re paying."
"My boyfriend and I ate here last night for dinner. We had the hummus with pita as an appetizer. It was delicious, except the consistency of the hummus was a bit grainy. We both had the Gyros for dinner. They were delicious, and I highly recommend it. We also had a raspberry white chocolate cake. The serving size was huge and you could feed two to three people with the serving size they give you. The service that we had was terrible. I understand that service can be bit slow during the holidays, but it was terrible. There was maybe 4 tables max that was there last night. Yet it took about 10 minutes to get at least waters and almost 15 minutes to get a draft beer. Our server never checked up on us. Only to drop our first round of drinks off, or appetizer, meal, and dessert. I hate to hunt down a server just to get our bill paid for. On top of it, throughout our whole visit, I watched another server tend to her multiple tables with grace. She made sure their drinks were good, the food was good, and made sure their visit was pleasant. As for the atmosphere it was quite, with light music playing in the background. The looks of it was on par with it being a holiday seasons. As for the cleanliness, it is slacking a tad bit. There was several discarded plates underneath our table. The servers didn't have their hair back while serving. ***Update***13-Jan-2024*** Went here for the second time. Had Amarrissa as our server. She is wonderful! A way better server than our last one. She was very attentive and informative about the menu and gave recommendations. I highly recommend her as a server. We had ordered the Zesty Feta Dip as an appetizer. It does have a small kick to it and was delicious. It has an interesting texture with the feta cheese chunks. Im curious on how it would taste if it was pureed. We also ordered a Gyro and a Falafel. They were amazing as well, and I highly recommend them."
"We were here for dinner at around 6:30pm on 1/5/24. The pizza here is like gas station pizza or frozen DiGiorno. It’s not very good. My husband got the gyro platter and it looked like mystery meat to me, it had the consistency of sliced Spam. Way too expensive for everything, even the appetizers were $11 or more. The best part was the cake. The slices are HUGE. The staff needs work. It took a long time for anyone to notice us standing up front. Then while we were eating, we heard the bald male waiter talking to another server while they cleaned up after a large group, and they were standing in the middle of the restaurant complaining about the customers, how a lady in the party wanted her salad a certain way and he stated that he didn’t care. Then they were discussing how much of a tip they left and how they didn’t think it was enough. I don’t think bad mouthing customers in the middle of the restaurant is a good idea, things like that should be discussed where other customers can’t hear. It just wasn’t appropriate or professional."
"Mad Greek treats you like family, and I mean that. I leave them notes every time I order, because I truly do appreciate how kind and accommodating they have been. Now it's like a back and forth game where we leave each other notes, they write on my boxes & it makes my day. I take pictures every time and show my friends, lol. To whomever I've been swapping notes with, you have lovely handwriting & brighten my day! Thank you! Now, on to the full review - I have not been in their restaurant (yet) but I order from them pretty much on a weekly basis. As I bet many of you know, delivery can be hit or miss. Not with Mad Greek! Every time, they go above and beyond to not only ensure the food is of good quality & proper temperature, but they also put that little bit of extra into everything they do. Pizzaz if you will. They been been more than accommodating. I am autistic & deal with a lot of food adversion for months at a time. However, bread and dips are a great comfort food that I can always rely on. Mad Greek is perfect for those times, and on regular days too! All in all, I can not recommend them enough. Please do give them a chance :)"
