River Place on the Clinch

"Great day outdoors. Kayak rentals and a 4 mile river trip were terrific. Took about 2.5-3hrs. Dinner and music on the back porch after was phenomenal. Tip: order the child special and get appetizer and dessert included. Highly recommend."

"Was there 8-4-17. Ok...service was medium, but the food and atmosphere was awesome. Live Bluegrass music while you eat. I traveled 40 miles to go there and will do it again."

"Biker friendly. Great stop on our half day Clinch River ride. Quaint, clean and staff were down home friendly. General store stocked with everything from hand fans and cereal to live bait. Porch with a view with small stage for live music. Young friendly wait staff. We'll be back for a lunch and longer visit!"

"A friend and I ate at this quaint outdoor restaurant while listening to live bluegrass music and enjoying the old bridge and the river flowing by. The store which is attached to the front of the restaurant had beautiful old creaky wooden floors and it was like a step back into Pioneer times - but quite nice at the same time. Service was given by smiling young people We ate a very thin steak, fresh cooked outside - which turned out to be delicious. Their french fries were thin, crispy, and yummy. Delicious ranch dressing, cole slaw, and tea topped off our meal. They also had several desserts available. Approx. $17 for the meal, dessert, and drink."

"Came bike touring through on Memorial Day and they were very accommodating! Great country store with everything you could need. Lovely tent camping, very peaceful and scenic. Definitely coming back!!"
