"Left hood unlocked / not closed all the way on last visit, wanted tires changed said did not have enough help, asked to make appointment for Tuesday told " not need just come in" show up, now need an appointment.. Not the first visit there that I thought they only did what they felt like doing.."

"My experience is as a former employee. In my opinion, the Service Center Manager is a joke and upper management isn't much better. They claim in the job posting that the uniforms are company provided, but the employees pay for them. The Service Center Manager is more concerned about everything going his way, no matter what Valvoline Corporate policy says. I was made to wait 4 weeks after completing the necessary certifications before the SCM would take the 5-10 minutes to meet with me and fill out some paperwork for my raise and open up the next step in my training. Then has major issues with my availability changing because I hadn't spoke with him but I had been in contact with the Assistant Manager, WHO DOES THE SCHEDULE, and turned in my change of availability notice over a week prior to effective date as I needed a second job to lay my bills. The change in my schedule based on the month of set scheduling was a 15 minute period on 1 day. When I emailed upper management about my concerns, I don't get a response. Due to the way the SCM treats his employees, I will never bring any vehicles back to this Lube shop. The rest of the staff here are amazing people and deserve to be treated better and for a company that has been in business for 150 years, the employees need to be paid better on the hourly rate end of things and not have to hope people will buy extra services to make enough money."

"Does not carry a full stock of oil filters and very unprofessional manner. 5 years ago place was amazing. Never had these issues with Magic city and half the price of valvoline."

"They do a fine job with oil changes, but if you go to get your car inspected? Good luck! It’s a joke. I was just there they, 1: don’t do appointments for it, 2: was told it is a two hour wait currently, but if I didn’t sit at their facility for 2 hours, if another car came in before me in 2 hours, they’d be serviced first. I completely understand the guy who does them is busy, but why the hell would you not at least pencil in appointments to save someone’s place? I don’t get it. I’m going elsewhere."
