"My husband,Randy, and I have passed by this attractive restaurant numerous times within the last several years as we were traveling to North Carolina to visit family members. I frequently told my husband that I wanted to stop to eat at this restaurant sometime.Due to our own scheduling issues, we could not seem to work out a time to stop there. Today,we decided to drive from our home in Stuarts Draft,which is 42 miles away,because we wanted to eat at Amherst Corner Restaurant! Wow- what a wonderful experience! We were welcomed by the pleasant and friendly owner as soon as we walked in, seated at a cozy booth,and served by Kim,a lovely and kind lady. We enjoyed talking to the owner as we made many connections with him and our own family and friends. Our food and ice cream was delicious! On our way home,we discussed the fun and heartwarming visit we had at this lovely restaurant.We will definitely return very soon!"
