"This little gem of a place is not far off the highway. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the French onion soup as a starter and it was fabulous. I also had the stuffed mushrooms with the spinach salad. I highly recommend this fantastic little place for a quick bite or a lovely evening dinner."

"We love trying local restaurants and diners so we tried this one and loved it. Although we weren't very hungry we wanted something light, so we had the soup of the day (potato soup), onion soup and a Rueben sandwich with potato salad to share, and everything was delicious. The restaurant was cute decorated and the waitress was very friendly too."

"We were visiting from NJ and a friend invited us to brunch there, eagerly excited to try. Jess our server was phenomenal!! The restaurant offered a variety of options. However, the restaurant does not accommodate individuals who do not eat pork, which is completely unacceptable. Spoke to the manager and he stated the bacon couldn’t be put on a separate plate or removed completely , it was considered modifying. Modifications can not be done on the weekends, this was a Sunday. Consider changing your policy to a more feasible and logical way of doing business please, it’s really irrational. It’s in a very nice location too."

"It took about 5 minutes for the hostess to notice us and seat us but other than that I was really impressed with this place! I got the Sensational Salmon Salad and it was way better than I expected. The fried green tomatoes were also amazing!!"

"My wife and I hadn't been to Briar Patch and Saturday was our day!! She loved her Pasta Primavera. She had bread pudding for dessert and she said it's the best she's had. I ordered the Pan seared chicken livers (hey, someone has to love them!!). I ordered the most delicious Greek salad and had their macaroni and cheese. Since my wife had to have dessert , I followed by having the famous Briar Patch Derby Pie (with ice cream of course!!) We had such a great time and our server Sarah was OUTSTANDING!! We'll be back very soon"
