"I've patronized Guadalajara (downtown and Pantops) for 20 years or so. The food is good the service is good but the prices have gotten outrageously expensive for Mexican fare. Recently, I got the burrito California lunch special. My wife got a taco salad. Both kids ate off the kids' menu, and the bill was $92. No beer or wine. Soft drinks only. I understand the rising costs of everything and overhead and paying employees and such, but what would make a fun, easy dinner out with the family has become less of a carefree dining choice now that it costs a hundred bucks every visit."

"I used to be a fan of this location, having dined here for over 30 years! but it has changed recently. The food was so so. Entrees were good, but the beans and rice not so much. The beer was cold, and they sell by the pitcher which was great. Service was good. The bathrooms are a wreck. Very small, and very dirty. The Greenbrier location is much nicer."
