"Terrible pizza, worse execution. I was excited about a Neapolitan style pizza but instead of lightly charred, what I got was a dry crust pretty much absent of sauce and a totally burnt to a crisp cheese (pretty sure it was at once cheese) top with some stale ingredients mixed in there. The best part of the meal was the canned soda and the friendly staff. I've had better pizza from a microwave at a gas station."

"Small shop but lovely staff. Pizza was incredible and made quickly. Large variety of topping choices made customizing the perfect pie easy. Mini cannolis were excellent with a variety of flavors to choose from. I think this shop could benefit greatly with the addition of a soda fountain instead of only canned and bottled drinks. The addition of more pizza size options (other than personal and regular) would also be beneficial. 9.8 out of 10. Can't wait to return."

"Had the greatest experience at Popitos this weekend. Finally a great Neapolitan pizza in Charlottesville! My husband, 2 year old son and I enjoyed the hot pig, Bobbi and Hawaiian pizza. The quality of this pizza is unmatched, all the ingredients tasted so fresh. We left feeling full and satisfied with plenty of leftovers. The restaurant was family friendly for our son. We had such a great experience we decided to have more at their pop up at Carter Mountain. It’s great to see and support a family owned local business! You can’t beat this quality for the price. We will be back!"

"10/10 Probably the best pizza in town. The wood fire oven just adds that extra flavor the cheese and fresh basil are absolutely delicious. Nice selection of craft sodas. Overall a very nice place with great staff and pizza."
