"I have eaten at every Chinese restaurant in Charlottesville, literally. These people are BY FAR, the BEST I have ever had (and I am a very picky and particular eater) They were extremely fast with FREE delivery (so I left a nice tip!) and very generous with their portions!!! I had the Amazing Chicken Lunch Special and Shrimp Fried Rice, Egg Roll and Fried Cheese Wontons. I am very pleased! My new and only GO-TO for Chinese from now on ❤️"
"The restaurant is in a defunct grocery store on the outside. It’s hard to tell that it’s even a restaurant. Kind of dirty on the inside very grungy. I was so excited. I had ordered Panko fried seafood, which turned out to be cold, and something that they pulled out of the refrigerator that had been pre-fried. It was dry and tasteless. The best thing about that was the I also ordered a vegetable dinner and I’m glad I did because the actual Panko fried “” dinner only came with rice. The vegetables with brown sauce was ok. both dishes were small for the price. just order the soups. They were delicious I had miso with tofu and seaweed. And hot and sour. I’ll never come here again."
"I lived in Hong Kong for some years and have pretty high standards for Chinese food. This low-key joint actually met those standards. Fantastic mapo tofu. Warm and cheerful service. Seated at a table near me was a man who had lived in Chengdu, China long enough to become fluent in Chinese and we concurred -the food is top notch. Only downside: The dining room was very cold. It's mostly a take-out place."
"I used to get takeout from here a decent amount when I was a student and the place has gotten worse. I would advise you visit another place, there are much better places across Charlottesville. I went again recently when I was visiting but didn’t find it welcoming. The place was extremely cold in the middle of fall, the workers were wearing hoodies as well. Furthermore, the woman working the counter was cold, snappy and tried staring me down. When waiting for the order, she refused to bring me the order. Instead, she expected me to come get it with a very haughty attitude. I regretted tipping. The food was decent, it wasn’t too good. The place needs to be cleaned and revamped."
"They used spaghetti for making my lo mein noodles, and my vegetable dumplings tasted like thick raw dough with vegetable paste. Very disappointing with the food given the price and other reviews. I should have spent $50 to get way better meals from other places. I’m sorry but there will be no more order from me."
