Reviews
"I’ve gone here MANY times as it’s my closest pizza spot and I like Domino’s. This place does not know service in the slightest. They will have you waiting for half an hour while your food is ready and just stare at you. Do yourself a favor and get food elsewhere unless you want to get cold pizza."
"Best word to describe this location is SLOW!! This location is incredibly slow. Read the other reviews, they say the same thing. Everyone in here is chit chatting and hanging around. In NO hurry. Don't bother with the pizza tracker.... They added 20 minutes to my max wait time. If they are going to be so slow they shouldn't give an estimate that people plan on at all. Just send a confirmation that says we have no idea when your order will be ready so don't plan ahead at all. Do better Dominos, do better. Order screen is turned off in this store Everytime. Two people making pizza and 1 person leaves every 3-5 minutes to run a order to the parking lot. Needs to be 3 people minimum working at dinner time but what do I know?"
"Update: Still 4 stars for me but the most recent order was fairly good. Because of the 50% off deal I ordered our custom steak build; Philly steak, Alfredo sauce, onions, mushrooms, jalapeños and provolone cheese. I refuse to pay the over $30 they charge for this fairly simple large pizza regularly...its just highway robbery. While I still think they are chintzy on their toppings especially for the money they charge, and especially the meat, at least this pie maker had a clue how to distribute the toppings. They were fairly evenly spread instead of haphazardly tossed from what seems like several feet away sometimes. The pizza tasted very good, we were happy with it. There was only one young man working here at 3PM Friday Oct. 6, 2023 and he seemed to be holding his own pretty well. I cant imagine how bad the service would have been later-on, on a Friday, if more employees didn't arrive. That said, I know it's hard to get decent employees. We really screwed something up with our younger generations. I would have loved to fill out the questionnaire on the web site after the order, but I needed to actually eat the pizza first (we reheat for dinner later) to know what to review, and by the time I got back on my computer (yes, imagine that, full sized screens) the next morning, the page had reset eliminating the page they wanted me to review. I would let them send me emails and review but if you allow any emails from Domino's they will pester you every single day relentlessly. Funny how people say this is the only pizza place in the area. There is an Italian place right across the road, literally walking distance from this Walmart. Granted, their food is only so-so but I have still never tried their pies. They might be not bad. Original review: We've only had 2 pizzas from this location. Started trying this location because Palmyra had gotten chintzy on toppings for a custom build steak pizza we have been ordering for years. Well, first time ordering that custom build here and same thing. I paid for an extra large pizza and the steak amount looked like it belonged on a medium pizza at best. And why pizza makers cant somewhat evenly distribute toppings is beyond me. All piled in one area and other areas of the pizza with little toppings at all. This is not cheap pizza either. Standing right in Walmart where they have a decent selection of affordable take and bake pizzas right there...its hard to take the risk on Domino's going forward. Sure, Walmart's pizzas are not top notch, but they are decent for the money. The reason I gave 4 instead of 3 stars is the first pizza we got from here was a totally decked out excellently topped pizza. it was their deluxe specialty pizza...maybe they treat toppings differently with house pizzas vs. custom builds, but its a shame, it used to be such a treat to get our custom steak build...not any more apparently."
"I would give it zero stars if I could. We placed an order well ahead of time and when we arrived to pick up the pizza there were 50 or so customers waiting to be served by FOUR employees. We had to wait another 45 minutes to pick up our pizza while the staff argued with each other. When we got the two pizzas home they had virtually no cheese and about 1/4 of the toppings one would expect. I will NEVER use this Dominos franchise again and may never eat at Dominios anywhere again. The corporate office needs to check this franchisee out. They are the absolute pits and service/quality like this destroys brands."
"So we ordered a few pizzas today. Arrived at this location and waiting for one of the delivery drivers to leave so we could park in the "curbside pickup only" spots. Checked in for curbside pickup, and waited and waited. Ended up having to call inside to see what the deal was. We were told that we had not placed an order. When my wife had gone inside to show them the order, and receipt FOR the order that we were told we did not place, we were then told that the guy inside had given our order to the first person he saw (not us, obviously). Then we were told that yes, we did in fact place an order (well, yeah. Because you just gave it to someone else). This is the only place within about 20 miles to order a pizza. One would think they wouldn't make it worth it, to drive to the next Domino's in Louisa VA. But here they are, making it better to drive to the next town over."
