"Stumbled upon this gem when out and about yard-saling. Going into this establishment, I felt like I was on the set of the Andy Griffith show - like time stood still Mid Century- not just because of the amazing decor, but also the way people were familiar with each other - hugging, joking and having friendly conversations. The family owned place is a true delight to visit. It is more of a sandwich shop, not a typical convenience type store, although they are selling items there as well. Location is on the main road with plenty of parking."

"Best chicken salad sandwich I've ever had. On a fresh croissant, with barbecued chicken, delicious sauce, tomato and lettuce. Then chocolate chip chocolate cake. Wow! Scrumptious. And the service too was excellent, and friendly. Finally, the chance to connect with the couple's incredibly cute 8-year-old. A totally fabulous lunch experience."
