"My girlfriend’s family and I stopped here after skiing and it was a mistake. First, we bought a few bottles of beer, only to find out that their only bottle opener must have recently been lost or stolen, so we had to bring them home to our house which is already full of booze. Also, the menu is incomplete and misleading — it doesn’t mention anywhere that you can buy pizza by the slice for $4 each (only cheese, and while supplies last, by the way), and doesn’t list the price of additional toppings on a build-your-own pizza (the pizza starts at $17 plus $2 each topping, FYI). You can only order personal size pizzas, and the specialty ones they’ve already listed start at a whopping $24 and only go up from there. Plus, the staff were generally unfriendly and also got our order wrong. We just wanted a build-your-own pizza with pepperoni, but they only gave us half pepperoni. They offered to make a new one, but we declined as the first one took long enough especially considering we couldn’t even enjoy our beers while we waited because of the bottle opener situation. And since it’s such a small place mostly meant for carry-out, they only have a few tables outside, so since it was a snowy day, we were just standing inside the whole time. Overall, this place is overpriced and a generally poor experience. The pizza was actually pretty good, though, and is the reason for giving two stars rather than one. We certainly wouldn’t go again and have had better experiences at Cheat Mountain down the road."
"Just had the worst pizza in my life. If there was more pizza places this place would not exist anymore. $2.5 per topping everything in middle of pizza and some of them they didn’t even put on. We had guests and everyone was filling same but they didn’t wanna really discuss so I don’t feel bad for ordering and choosing. If you want pizza please save your money and time by going somewhere else not here."
"We just picked up pizza to enjoy before the fireworks. It might be the best pizza I’ve ever had. Other reviews that mention the price being high haven’t been buying pizza other places or food in restaurants lately-everything is expensive. Snowshoe is lucky to have The Pizza Slice!! My nephews are ready for us to get more pizza this week!"
"No parking. Was told we could take our food upstairs to Tuques Bar. It was 18 degrees and snowing outside. No pizza by slice available at 2:30 even-though it was available the day before. Was told it was only available after 4. Either some laziness or outright dishonestly on this visit. At any rate left with Pistachio gelato. Excellent choice as the pizza reviews on here appear to be disappointing."
"My $17 caesar salad with trout weighed less than a helium balloon. I was forced to add potato chips to the mix to keep it from floating away. I probably would have been more full eating the styrofoam it was served in."
