"I had the whole family on this visit to Tyson's and ate here after our event was canceled on a Friday morning. We were seated quickly, just beating the afternoon rush. Most profoundly, we had an exceptional waiter that knew the menu well, made recommendations, checked back on us frequently, and offered a cordial smile and holiday welcome. For that, I will have to rate this experience a 5 stars despite the lackluster presentation of the 27 dollar, crab cake sandwich special sans lettuce, tomato or garnish. Just take a look at that pic, I traded out the fries and got upcharged for the side Ceasar salad, which was delicious. But, that crab cake....no lettuce, no tomato on what felt like a wheat bun....not even brioche. Nevertheless, the crab meat flavor was delicious. The kids got a grilled cheese with a side of fruit and a side of apple sauce instead of fries. Those are great options for children if you are trying to avoid the pound of French fries most restaurants offer. They enjoyed their meals, and the fish tacos were a hit, and we got a cranberry Margarita and an Old Fashioned. I almost forgot...we had an appetizer....The appetizer crab dip was pleasing . They give you huge slabs of crisp, taco shell-like chips that pair well with the crab."

"One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Northern Virginia. The Ozzie Rolls are at the top of my list of favorite bread, I love the Calamari with the Pepper Jelly, and the Deviled Eggs with the Candied Bacon are fantastic. Also, the Warm Goat Cheese & Spices Pecan Salad is a must. On this visit, I had the Low Country Beef Back Ribs, which were so delicious. Excellent service from the wait staff and great ambiance rounded out a perfect lunch for my wife and I."
