"Loved it. I thought that the Onion tart was one of the best things that I've ever eaten. And the charcuterie board, was the perfect size for sharing and I loved how it was served on a thin crust that was sliced into smaller pieces; perfect for tearing off to eat with the toppings. I can't wait to try the burrata platter next time. Our server Katerin was attentive, knowledgeable, and prompt with our service and check."
"I was not aware of this Neopolitan pizzeria. I was invited for lunch and now must return with my family. Had the Pesto pizza, good to feed me for two sittings. Everything was fantastic."
"It's one of the worst pizza experiences! Which is too bad since the Washington Post said they recently won a top 50 neapolitan pizza by an organization from Napels. We did arrive the last hour they were open, but know that kind of pizza takes 10min or less to make, so we thought we would be out still with time to spare. The servers did not want us there and made that clear in their demeanor. The entire experience, all the servers were gathered at the bar, having fun and ignoring the customers. The appetizer was 8 smaller than a child's finger - Zucchini fries for $6.75. I have had better at Olive Garden, especially for that price. They forgot the bottle of wine we ordered, so when our pizza was dropped off, I inquired. I wish I hadn't as it was again, one of the worst Pino Nior wines I have had. The serve said, "it's a twist top, u got it" after setting it on our table along side our 2 glasses. I assume my face showed unhappiness, as he then said, "oh ok" and untwisted it, and handed me the cap with 2 fingers and walked away. So I poured wine for my table. Our pizzas were doughy and under cooked, not the slightest bit crispy or appetizing as it shoukd have been. I will admit, the toppings were delicious standing alone, but as a pizza, I have better frozen pizzas. I have no desire to go back, and have no idea how they were "certified"- was it a differnt location? ... I would tell everyone to run! Oh, and with the claims made about the restaurant, I was also surprised to what looks and tastes like store bough shaker cheese. I looked at what the table next to us left behind, and seems they didn't enjoy their food either. The cherry on top was at 940pm all the lights in the dim restaurant came on, and the servers were sweeping all around us. I could see maybe the last five minutes they were open to encourage customers to leave, but 20min? Especially with 5 tables left. Do not go here!"
"So I'll start with the only good. Great flavor. But this pizza is disgustingly mushy. The crust turns into a gelatinous paste because it just absorbs all the moisture of the excess cheese and sauce they load on it for no reason. Air frying it to warm it up or baking it per instructions does zero for it, it only makes it worse. It's inedible warmed up, and only good because of flavor when made fresh but you're not eating a pizza with a crust, you're eating mushy bread slop that tastes good. So dissapointed."
"What a disappointing experience. My family planned to dine at Pupatella but had limited time, so we ordered online to avoid a wait. We explained this when we arrived, but were told by the waiter and management they couldn't change our order to inside and we would have to eat outside. This was 1:30 on a Sunday and there were many free tables. It was only after I told them we were buying drinks they allowed us to sit inside. It baffles me that an order couldn't be moved inside. I would have understood if we were bringing in outside food or if the restaurant was full, but this was not the case. This is only the second time I've been to this restaurant and both times the food has been lackluster with little flavor. I prefer a robust pizza sauce and crispy crust. The pizza at Pupatella has neither."
