"*updated* Javi is a gem. If you are lucky enough to get him as your server, he had great recommendations for the new menu and nothing disappointed! I love coming here and getting any of the tacos! Birria tacos are AMAZING! Margaritas or mojitos are also a must with dinner! I will be back soon! ***Well it used to be good, don't know what happened but all the staff are new, the food is okay, and service was subpar. The server smelled like a 90s AXE body spray commercial. The food was out fast but all at the same time, we wanted more beers but the server was in the kitchen the whole time. Finally got another round but we were done eating already so we sat there chatting. I asked for the bill and decided to pay with cash. Once the server took it, he came back to the table to ask if I wanted my 25$ in change. This rubbed me the wrong way and we all left without it. Will not be returning any time soon. It's unfortunate because this place used to be super great, I told everyone about it and now it's just sad. Hope things change back, but I'm not counting on it."
"We are here for the first time for a quick dinner. The outside looked inviting enough so it did draw us in from that. The inside was fairly clean and had been decorated a little different than you would expect for a TexMex restaurant. The service was good. I tried a Chimichanga with Pastor chicken. Frankly it had no flavor and the chicken tasted like it was reheated in a microwave. I didn’t even eat half of it. My wife got chicken fajitas which were definitely much better. I also ordered a tea but it also had a weird flavor. I have to say I was pretty disappointed in the meal. I won’t be back and I probably wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. The were pretty slow for a Friday evening too so might say something about the place."
"Uncle Rico's is a good choice for some authentic food with some fun options. There's a nice patio area in the spring and summer which is worth checking out with a margarita or a bucket of Coronas. I've visited 3 times and had 3 different drinks and 2 different entrees. High marks for the steak fajitas which are quite a bit of food for the price. Location is unassuming, clean, and welcoming on the inside."
"Delicious food/drinks with warm, friendly team members. We’ve been several times- never disappointed. Huge portions so we never finish. My favorites are the shrimp cocktail & Tres Leches cake. Gabby is awesome & will whip you up a yummy drink with great conversation!!"
