"Shopping in this store is one thing, consigning another. I came in with a high end designer handbag and its authentication proof, and was treated deplorably. The young woman behind the counter, who was there when I first came in, was very nice, and we started what was a coherent conversation about the item. Her manager, upon hearing what I was looking to consign, thereupon came out from the back and took over. She handled the handbag roughly while inspecting it and treated me from the onset as if I was trying to push off a knock off on her. "There are so many knock offs out there!" Her tone was accusatory, aggressive and she made inappropriate remarks. Rather than a discussion it felt tike an interrogation. She then suggested I leave the bag and that the person "normally in charge of such consignment items" would call me. You can bet I did not leave the bag or the authentication card. This was an incredibly unpleasant experience. I would greatly hesitate before consigning anything here."
