"I needed to have an MRI done for an upcoming surgery. The MRI had been scheduled earlier in the month, the day of my appointment, 2hrs before my appointment, I got a voicemail mail saying the machine all of a sudden stopped working, and they weren’t able to see me that day. I really wish they would have been more professional, and called earlier in the week to reschedule, it was obvious from the voicemail I was the last patient in the schedule and they wanted to get off work as early as possible and my appointment was in the way."

"I went to fern hill to receive “good” care, but I got far less than that. They treat their facility more like a conveyer line, than a hospital. I went there for two reasons, my hip and shoulder. I was completely ignored when talking about my hip. I was then rushed to the x-rays, where I again received less than “good” care. The X-rays were performed in a rushed way. I then finally get to see the doctor, Dr.Towsen. She spent all about 3 minutes with me, while I explained my symptoms. My X-rays came back normal, which I expected, I am then told I need an mri, which is what I thought would happen. I was then rushed out of the private room, where then I proceeded to make an appointment for an mri. Now I am expected to wait around 2 weeks for a call for the mri scheduling. Everything about the place is less than average. So many people being taking advantage of. Never go here, if you want someone to actual care about you and your health needs, don’t come here."

"This is his wife writing review. While my husband was having surgery I went to use first floor bathroom (6:45am). The toilet had fecal material on it and the bathroom stunk. I immediately went to the bathroom on upper floor by gi suite and the toilet was clean but no soap at all. How disgusting!"

"I had a script for an mri done with no dye contrast and about 4 people where trying to get me to say yes to the contrast. The receptionist at desk where very rude and unprofessional felt like I was being bullied honestly! I had to say no to the contrast about 5 times! They even had the mri dr speak with me to change my mind. I wanted to just storm out of there and have it done at brandywine but it’s been since August and I wanted it done. I will never go back there again!"

"I can't overstate my recommendation for this place. While we went through a cancer scare I found the staff - from the volunteers to the admissions staff all the way up to the doctors - to be excellent. They were patient and compassionate and great at their jobs. The parking was easy, facilities were nice and level of care was great. But the what truly impressed me was while I sat waiting for my family's procedure to finish, I did not see a single patient wait for more than 10 minutes until they were called back. The admissions person even checked on me to make sure they hadn't missed anyone. That sort of care is just outstanding in our world of 3 hour hospital waits."
