"We were in search of a heat pump system to replace our oil burner and aging A/C units. We received quotes from a few air to air heat pump installers, but everything required oil backup (or electric resistance backup). Tom Rekowski came to give us a proposal and suggested we go with a geothermal system. It made sense. This is a big project, and did take a while from conception to completion. Drillers are hard to find, and eventually some came down from NH(!). Once the ground loop was ready, the project moved inside. There were parts delays, of course, something out of the hands of Valley Heating and Cooling. They kept us informed about every step. The installation of the interior piping was literally artistic. The work was incredibly precise and professional. The cutover occurred during the winter, and there was no noticeable interruption in the heat supply. Now the system is up and working almost flawlessly. We needed a couple adjustments here and there, but they were minor. So two things: I suggest you invest in a system like this, because it is quiet, efficient, and environmentally friendly. And I suggest you call Valley Heating & Cooling for the work. I almost neglected to mention: everybody on the various crews who assisted with the project was friendly and professional. we enjoyed working with them, and also with Tom. There was never even the tiniest mess left behind. I cannot recommend this company more highly!"
