"My wife had an appointment on January 19, but it snowed very badly. She called that same day (yesterday) and spoke with a young woman on the phone. She had the phone on speaker so I heard the call myself. The young woman told her to come the next day, January 20, at 2:45 pm. My wife and I drove an hour the following day from our home Howell, NJ to this spa. Once we entered, the receptionist informed her she did not have her listed for an appointment. Another older blonde employee yelled out from inside a room that my wife did not have an appointment. When we told the receptionist that they had scheduled my wife for 2:45, they refused to take any responsibility for being disorganized and not having booked the appointment correctly. It’s one thing for a business to make a mistake and accidentally mislead a client, it’s another thing to just not take any action to alleviate or mitigate the problem. Do they think we’re stupid? Why would we drive an hour from our house if we had not heard the woman on the phone say my wife was scheduled at 2:45 pm. Here is the thing: we are small business owners and know exactly how to deal with a client when the BUSINESS OWNER drops the ball. They didn’t even try to resolve the issue, just told my wife to leave! This folks is the difference between a successful business and a company that thinks it’s above the people they work with: arrogance, lack of accountability, and basic respect. Foul, foul behavior.
