"Went to Rowan Family Medicine to become again a patient to Dianna Shinkarow. Followed her to here. Front desk the girls were great. From the initial phone call to my visit everyone was so friendly, courteous and professional. Dianna Shinkarow cares about YOU and in today's medical assembly line industry that meant the most to me. She took the time to listen to me then go over all my concerns. Thank you Rowan for staffing such highly caring personnel. To follow up: I am still a patient here of Dianna Shinkarows. The staff have kept to their professional, courteous, friendly and caring actions. Dianna Shinkarow always takes the time, listens to my concerns and does not sugarcoat anything to me. As I always wanted from my first visit to her a few years back. At my age and health issues, I have complete confidence that she has my best interest. Thank you again."
"Made a appointment for 10:30 AM, arrived at 10:35 AM. They told me that I am late and will have to come back because on their clock I am more than 5 minutes late. I should be their at 10:15 in reality not 10:30 AM. Not to mention the doctor I was seeing, misdiagnosed me and gave me the wrong medication so I ended up in the ER. The staff was condescending and sneering. I will be looking for a new Primary Care Provider."
"The personnel here were extremely rude. The front desk acts like you don’t exist when you walk in the office. By the time you do get to speak with somebody they act like they don’t want to help. I went in for a visit and one of the practitioners Dianna Shinkarow compared me to her children because I had my headphones in my ear. Then she tried to laugh it off as it was a joke. I tired to explain my condition and she didn’t even let me finish my explanation on how I was feeling. She assumed that I should be doing xy and z before I told her my about my symptoms. Please do not go here. Nobody wants to leave a doctor’s office feeling uneasy. Especially, if it’s concerning your help and well being."
"The support staff at Rowan Family Medicine were pleasant and helpful. This review is specific to Dr. Plasner. I don’t recommend Dr. Samantha Plasner. My recent experience was for a yearly physical. I brought in my own blood pressure monitor to check against hers in the office for accuracy. She had a medical student who interviewed me before she came into the room. He forgot to take my blood pressure and I asked him about it. He said “Thank you for reminding me, because Dr. Plasner will ask for that information.” He proceeded to try and take my blood pressure. He fumbled a lot and after the first try said that he didn’t do it right and needed to try again. He took it a second time. We compared it to mine and there was a 10 point difference. He said Dr. Plasner could try when she came in to make sure it was correct. When Dr. Plasner came in, she said I’m not going to ask you the usual questions since my intern already did. She proceeded to start with other questions. I asked her about the blood pressure. She was condescending with me and told me that the 10 point difference was normal between office and home. She didn’t seem interested in checking my blood pressure herself or helping me. She told me I could try taking 3 readings on my personal machine while she was going over other information with me. She was clearly in a hurry and not focused on my concerns."
"I went for my first visit at Rowan Family Medicine to see Dr Danielle Cooley. I am very pleased with my experience there. The Dr., office staff, and assistants were very friendly and welcoming. I got called right back and didn’t have to wait forever to see the doctor. I would highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for a family doctor."
