John Bell Health Center, located at 1207 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a comprehensive healthcare clinic specializing in providing state-of-the-art primary medical care to adults age 18 and older. As part of Philadelphia FIGHT Community Health Centers, the institution offers culturally competent primary care, including HIV and Hepatitis C primary care, pediatrics, family dentistry, gender-affirming care, behavioral health services, clinical research, and advocacy for individuals and families from all walks of life.

The John Bell Health Center strives to provide a safe space for individuals to access high-quality medical care, regardless of insurance status, ability to pay, or life circumstances. The compassionate team of providers focuses on addressing each patient's unique needs and challenges.

For established patients, the center offers a limited number of walk-in spots for urgent health issues on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-in appointments are available Monday through Friday between 9AM and 11AM, and 1PM and 3PM. Patients are encouraged to adhere to appointments whenever possible, but same-day scheduling is also available.

The center also offers assistance with applying for public benefits through its counselor on staff. All programs and services are offered regardless of gender, race, color, sex, religious beliefs, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or insurance status. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay, and a discounted/sliding fee schedule is available based on family size and income.

In memory of AIDS activist and mentor John Bell, the health center strives to continue his legacy of transforming lived experiences into knowledge to help others. Philadelphia FIGHT is a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation, recognized by the IRS as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, and receives HHS funding with Federal Public Health Service deemed status.
