"I'm new to the area, and decided to try this location as it's close to my home. I called for an appointment, and there wasn't anything available for 3 weeks. I had an appointment at 11:30, was brought into a room immediately, where I sat for an hour before I met the medical assistant. I finally saw the doctor after another 45 minutes. My whole appointment took over 2 hours, the majority of it was me waiting in a room by myself. I didn't feel like Dr. Manin cared about me, but was simply reading questions off a list, and almost never let me finish my sentence. Carl was awesome and joked with me while he drew blood (which made me less nervous) and the lady at the front desk had me well taken care of. I'll probably look for a new PCP, because I don't want to wait 2 hrs every time I have an appointment."
"As other reviewers mentioned, be prepared to have a long wait at this office. You more than likely will not be seen until hours later and the office is never that busy. I've only met with Dr. Manin two times and during those times, I did not feel 100% comfortable with her. I've expressed to her and her colleagues that their medical assistant Carl is a creep and should not be working there. To my knowledge, he still does and the office did not do anything about my complaint. Tara is probably the only person there who took the time to remain patient and considerate of everything that went on in the office and she took care of my needs the most whenever I needed something. I found it quite ridiculous that I could not get direct contact with Dr. Manin outside of the office, but I do not recommend this location. You are better off looking elsewhere."
"This was the worst experience I have had in a doctors office. I was in the waiting room for 30 minutes and was only made aware that they were running behind when another patient was told when they walked in. I then waited for another hour (just to get a vaccine) and had to leave because I had a previous commitment. Good thing I decided to leave because when I went to reschedule they informed me that I would not have been able to get the vaccine because I was a new patient. So why when I called to make the initial appointment did they not tell me this, or when I walked into the office because they had on file why I was there. Honestly an hour and a half of my day wasted and I will never be returning to this practice."
"Both my wife (who is a physician) and I go to Dr. Manin. She is a great internal medicine/family medicine physician. She take the time to do a full exam, answer all of your questions and run appropriate test. Highly recommend her. We have since moved out of Philadelphia, but still travel over 45 minutes to see her because she does such a good job. As a physician, my wife knows an excellent doctor when she sees on."
"If I could rate negative stars I would. I have two keiloids on my ear from old infected ear piercings and wasn't sure who to go to about getting them taken care of. I wasn't sure if I would need a referral to go to a dermatologist, and I needed to act fast because I was losing my insurance. I called their office and they ASSURED ME that the doctor would be able to help me. I arrived to my appointment 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork, and as I was waiting, someone else walked in and the receptionist told him the doctor was running an hour behind. I was not told this when I walked in. After an hour and a half I'm finally called into a room and told a doctor will be seeing me shortly. I waited ANOTHER TWO HOURS to see the doctor. This is where the real fun starts. Dr. Manin comes in and I have to say she is one of the rudest physicians I have ever had the misfortune to meet in my entire life. Number one, she harassed me about getting a flu shot for about 15 minutes. Number two, when I told her why I was there, she said "I don't know how you want me to help you". WHAT! I said I called the office and they advised she could help, she said "I'm an internal medicinist, not a dermatologist". Her grandiose advise to me was to "remove all the other piercings in my ears so it won't attract more attention to my unattractive ear." (I have two other piercings, not infected whatsoever) She said she could recommend me to a dermatologist, but she didn't think they would be able to help me. I asked if she thought an initial visit with a dermatologist would cost me anything out of pocket and she said "I'm a doctor, I don't deal with money." During my appointment she kept asking "is there anything else you came in here for?" Like I was wasting her time and kept asking if I was SURE I didn't want a flu shot. I went to my appointment at 3pm and left the office at 8pm in literal tears because Dr. Manin was so rude and heartless towards me about something I am very insecure about."
