"I had an appointment with Dr. Smith this week. He was late as other posts indicated. He reviewed my x-rays indicating arthritis in my back along with disc problems and degenerative disc disease. Dr. Smith then examined the strength in legs for a few minutes. He stated "if it gets worse you could call me and come back." I asked about physical therapy, he said I could try that and gave me a prescription. The appointment last 9 minutes. I came with the hope of developing a strategy to deal with my current back pain and prevent subsequent episodes. Dr. Smith had not interest in providing that help to me. His speed was disrespectful and the visit was a complete waste of my time. I assume that this quality of care is below the expected standard of the Rothman Institute."
