"I first visited Pgh Audiology 4 years ago, during the pandemic as I was experiencing extreme difficulty hearing. The mandatory use of masks made it even more difficult to hear anyone and then I was unable to even try to read their lips to see what they were saying because of the mask mandate. I saw Dr. Howard and she confirmed my worst fear, I was losing my hearing. After the in-depth tests and conversations, I was directed to hearing aids. "I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Lori Howard in the Monroeville Office today for a hearing evaluation. She was very pleasant and thorough during my appointment. She took the time to look over previous records and compared my test results to see if/what changes took place with my hearing. I also tested her demo hearing aids - wow!!! is all I can say. End result is that I do need new hearing aids because mine are 10 years old. Technology changes so much each year and as a previous employee in the medical field I know only to well what I saw in my career, so I understand the need for new ones and I don’t want to miss out hearing conversations at family get togethers anymore."
