"This was my first time ordering from Holebrook and I am between a size medium and large depending on the brand. I went with the size chart offered and ordered a medium long sleeve shirt but after receiving it the shirt was skin tight and unwearable. Being a new customer and unfamiliar with their sizing I asked in good faith if they would waive their no exchange policy and allow me to exchange the shirt for a large and on my end I offered to pay the shipping both ways. They responded only by defending their policy.. so I then asked what they would be willing to do to remedy this but remained unwilling to offer a discount on a second purchase of the shirt or even free shipping. That was unexpected and I have since emptied my cart and will never shop at Holebrook again. I only wanted to have paid for a shirt that fit me. Holebrook is clearly committed to their policies but not to their customers. If customer service is important to you I would be hesitant to shop with Holebrook. THUMBS DOWN Holebrook. -Rob H."

"I cannot say enough about this place. The quality of the clothing is amazing. And it lasts!!! The men's sweaters from Holebrook are so comfortable and perfectly sized which is always a big concern for me when shopping elsewhere. They carry a line known as Johnny O that is awesome for every season in Rhode Island as well. I look forward to their new additions all the time. I will also add this note also as it pertains to the staff there. They are not pushy and they dont try to sell you things you dont want or need but instead they ask you questions about your day to day lives and how a particular piece they have may suit your needs. I bought my wife a beautiful cashmere coat from there and she said it was the 2nd best gift ever and I wouldn't have known what to get without the attentiveness of the staff there. The best gift was our rescue dog Mary. The staff are so friendly, helpful, and kind. Whatever training model they have, it is certainly seen by an avid shopper like myself. Kudos to all of you. I cant wait to see whats next for such a great store."
