"I debated even leaving a review for awhile but now seeing other reviews with the same experience I feel the need to warn others. I loved the doctor himself and would have liked to keep seeing him despite being overbooked. The office staff is the worst experience I ever had. I can’t fathom how you work in a MENTAL HEALTH office and treat people the way the one woman does. If she wasn’t there I would go back. I was told I wasn’t going to be charged for virtual visits and then got a bill in the mail that I didn’t understand and they would not explain. No sort of compassion or empathy in the office. And then this year I tried to call for my medical records and they denied me my right to my medical records (which I believe is illegal) and just talked over me “oh well we can’t do anything until you pay” yea I will never be going back. Good thing my mental health hasn’t been so bad that I want to hurt myself or I would have done so already due to the way they handled things and can’t imagine how many people have suffered because of the same problems I endured."

"This man is NOT a medical doctor. He is an NP who earned a doctorate in nursing education (DNP). He calls himself doctor in the clinical setting, which other states have began to fine DNPs for doing because it is can be misleading to patients. Buyer beware he is not a board certified physician."

"I have been struggling to find a dr who actually looks at me like a person ( I’ve had addiction in the past and meeting new doctors I am usually immediately stereotyped (understandable at first) even tho my addiction was 10 years in the past. He seen me. Not the addict I was. He listened and talking to him was like talking to a friend. Great positive staff and great Doctor. Highly recommended"

"The office manager, Leanne, denied me my meds because I owed a $15 copay. When she called to inform me what I owed I had been in a car accident and was unaware that my meds would not be ordered until I paid. I had to go without meds until I could call the office the next day. She treats me like dirt on the phone and in person. Dr. McMullen is extremely disorganized and unaware how his front office treats mental health patients.The left hand has no clue what the right hand is doing."

"gave 1 star because 0 wasn't an option. When I was a patient, I received a letter in the mail saying dr. mike was discontinuing my service with his office... why? His office manager lied to him and told him I hung up on her. My adult daughter was there during our phone call... I did not hang up on her. We could not come to an agreement so I ended the call. But I made her aware that I was ending the call. I was told I wasn't being charged for my virtual visits and all of a sudden 6 months later... I receive a bill for over $200.... I called to talk to her about why i felt i wasn't responsible for that amount... that reason was because the doctor told me in advance that i wasn't being charged, so why did I receive a bill? We could not come to an agreement so I ended the call. No sense in staying on the phone if you can't agree on a solution.... funny the bill just disappeared after that. but who cares... i'm just a mental patient."
