"I was just here the other night with my husband. While the overall atmosphere was very chill, I was disappointed over the minimal selection of alcohol. Not to mention that the drinks we did get were very mid. There's signs that encourage people to ask about the cocktails/mocktails, and when I did ask, I just had a menu shoved into my hands before I could finish speaking. I found that to be a little rude. Otherwise, the food was fine. Nothing special. I will point out that this place has no tolerance for children acting up, and I'm all for it. There's rules stating that kids need to behave or the parents will be billed on top of what they pay for food and drink. I wish more places would do this, as parents just don't seem to care nowadays about how their kids act. Also, for anyone else who doesn't want to be around kids, it's 21+ after 8pm. Overall, this place was fine. I'd be opening to coming back occasionally, but I don't think I'd come back any time soon."
"Tonight I had dinner in Philly with me, myself and I … we are at Dock Street Brewery which is 5 very long blocks from my son’s home … I walked it both ways and survived with a bunch of stops along the way … it is interesting to me how some activities that would seem more taxing on my system do not compare to just walking … that I think is the hardest activity for me … Lung Cancer with Pulmonary Issues are not going to stop me … ever … okay so let’s get to the dinner … first I had a sampling of the three dark beers Dock Street Brewery makes … I liked the “Man Full of Trouble Porter” … “A liquid nod to the only pre-revolutionary tavern still standing in The City of Brotherly Love. “Man Full of Trouble” was one of Colonial Philadelphia’s first watering holes. This London Style Porter was brewed with “Old-World” in mind. Black and chocolate malts create its deep mahogany appearance and creamy espresso-like flavor. A blend of English East Kent Goldings and Fuggles hops lends a delicate earthy presence.” I then ordered the Margarita Pizza a little more well done … they prepared it perfectly to my request … it was delicious … I then had their Key Lime experience for dessert … a refreshing end to a beautiful meal … I do recommend this place for sure … it’s fun for all …"
"We got to Dock Street Brewery South in the early afternoon on a Saturday. It was pretty low key and quiet for a bit, but definitely starting filling up as we were headed out about 2 hours later. They have a fantastic open floor plan, plenty of seating, a very long bar and even a pool table. In the back, past the bathrooms, there is more seating and a view of the brewing room (and the pizza oven). We tried a bunch of their beers and one of their cocktails, all were great (even bought some to go too). Their food menu has a bunch of choices and were very good too. Service was quick and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend, and will definitely be back!"
"Loved the seasonal cocktail menu, which was in addition to an already solid cocktail menu. Food was great too, we got the brussel sprouts and margarita pizza. Lot of vegetarian options. Loved that they had The Holiday on the main screen and RuPaul's Drag Race on another! Seating can be tricky on weekends, and all ordering is at the bar which was frustrating. Would have preferred to be able to order from an app at our table."
