When asked if she had any openings she took a moment to think and said no. Her tone of voice and the way she handled my call was unprofessional and sent off my internal instincts that this was not a good place to bring young children. "Both my children attend and have for about a year. I personally have known Marlaina for over 15 years. We have attended other centers with our oldest who is five and have never found a place that does this great of a job. My son has made leaps and bounds in the education department and never wants to leave! He’s always talking about a new activity or game that they played that day. He is a very high energy child and Marlaina takes the time to work with his needs and it has improved his academics. She takes a different approach with each child and is sure to meet the needs of each and every child every day. Elaine works with all the children also but her specialty is the babies. My daughter has spent over half her life there and her eyes light up every morning when she sees her “nene”. They have been an amazing resource not just for childcare but for all needs. They helped navigate the waters as we transitioned to baby led weaning and have never ever disagreed to try something with my kids when I’ve asked. I will continue to take our younger two even after my sons starts kindergarten in Smithfield because they are worth the extra drive in the morning!"
