"There nurses don't care. simple.. Find somewhere else...I've never seen such a bad, inconsistent place to detox, there paper work says dual treatment but if you want to shake, pace, lose sleep and throw up detoxing, feel like dying from the no meds they offer any alcohol withdrawal symptoms dont go there.. that's 1% of it. Message me for more details. My paperwork proves it. I was told " if u don't like it we can fill out your discharge paperwork". MASAC is better. Imagine that. Smfh"
"Spent 12yrs here. With the best men's group, multitude of therapist. Took 5 groups a day. Every weekday for 12 weeks straight. Then went back to 3 groups a week. Started when I was 23. Saved my life a multitude of times."
"ZERO STARS FOR SSTAR Would not recommend to anyone who is required to have paperwork to show court/probation officer etc. We all know how the courts are and when they want a signed document, it has to be soon. Courts do not care about sstar's policy where they can have up to 14 days to sign any paperwork or even look at it. Even going as far as letting them know that you will go to jail TODAY if they dont simply sign something, they will refuse to do it even though the time it took them to tell you NO, they could have signed it. Everything is a big game to alot of these workers here. The other problem is, they go over 14 days. When a counselor doesn't want to do your paperwork, or barely sign their name - they will just tell you they are not your counselor anymore and you are bounced to a new one. Making the paperwork trail even harder to obtain. Getting any type of documentation is an act of congress, like another fellow said below. Just one problem theres tons more."
"It was the most terrible place I have ever been to in the entire state of Massachusetts. There are a coupl good staff members. The rest is all junk. I was in there for alcohol. Not mental health. Because t I saw how they were treated aswell. I got myself out of there after 9 days. I had 3 good staff members. The rest of them it was like I was bullied and belittled. And shamed to top it off. I will never go back and I also would never put my family or a friend in that facility. Plus you starve. Food is terrible and very small portions. I'm only 118 pounds and I would eat the gross food and still be starving. There are 3 great r.s. (residential specialist) Wendy, Shea and Tasha. And one good counselor Krystal."
