"I'm sitting here waiting of them to call me in and they sitting here down secret Santa and there a lobby full of people.. there are joke . And they don't take there job seriously. They tell you to come in at a time then they give you another time. I wish I can be this unprofessional at work with out getting fire."
"Stop yelling at the person answering the phone and making calls to confirm or reschedule your appt it's not her fault."
"Most of the receptionists are pleasant and the hygienist is very kind & personable. However, the provider was apathetic, rude, and ridiculously cynical on this day. I got a filling in the Summer; now, I need a root canal and a crown on the same tooth. I went in for a toothache, the provider mentioned nothing about infection nor did he express concern. He only said I was due for a deep cleaning- exact words. He “deep” cleaned my tooth and gave me local aesthetic. However, I left in more pain than when I arrived. The pain persisted. I book another appointment for 8am and was told to arrive for 7:45am. I did so. Provider strolls in at 8:05am. Long story short I was seen at 8:50am by the provider who had an attitude the whole time and made classist comments stating the state isn’t going to pay for a proper deep cleaning because he could not provide a evidence that it was necessary. This is in spite of me having an infection causing me to need a costly procedure. That’s a clear indicator of bias and prejudice towards the community you chose to serve. Telling folks to be thankful for basic quality care speaks volumes to the lack of decent values. Quality healthcare is a human right not a privilege. It’s concerning that employees of community based facilities are operated by such callous individuals who direct their anger at patients in need instead of generating a critical reflection on the quality of health-care in this country. Everyone knows how limited accessibility to adequate care is for working class people -not an accident and has a long history of discrimination and violence against marginalized groups. Of course these issues are not limited to this practice, but they could really improve on the their respect for client dignity and worth of a person."
"The front desk staff are providing such a disservice to their patients with their lack of empathy and respect. If you’re Hispanic don’t count on them to help you. They will snicker and talk about the patients right in front of you. CCAP needs to do better by hiring qualified individuals with better manners and respect."
"This supposed low budget clinic is beyond racists and they have ghetto Latin receptionist that think they’re better than other people. They will laugh at you then when you threaten them they get scared and lie about you and still don’t give treatment. ALWAYS ASK AS IS YOUR RIGHT TO DOCUMENT THEM BEING RACIST AND REFUSING TREATMENT IN YOUR RECORDS."
