"According to the manager...they have no volume on the televisions. Therefore you can not listen to the football game. You'll have to listen to top 40 music. Some sports bar. Not impressed!"
"It's a sports bar but the TVs do not have sound to hear the games!!!"
"I was excited to have dinner there for my birthday. We haven't been to this casino in a few years and we planned an overnight for 11-11. I looked at the menu ahead of time and was looking forward to the Pittsburgh salad. Earlier in the evening I checked the restaurant out to see if we might need reservations and it wasn't busy at all, so we decided to come back shortly. We gambled a bit and went back to the restaurant to only be met with a really long line. No problem, we can wait. We went to our room for a bit and went back. A hostess or server greeted us and I asked her if we could get a table. She peered into a computer or something I'm assuming to check the time and said, "oh, unfortunately we are no longer serving food." I was in shock to say the least and checked my phone for the time because I was anticipating it being really late and we lost track of time somehow. But it was 8:44pm. My husband an I were baffled as to why a busy sports bar would not be serving food at this time on a Saturday night. But we left and had horrible pizza at the deli across the way. It was disappointing but we laughed and tried to make the most of a silly thing. The reason for this review is because the next morning we saw a sign outside of the restaurant stating that the restaurant closes at 10pm on Saturdays and the menu stops at 9pm. So why were we turned away before 9pm? I was in the service industry for 15 years and when we closed at a certain hour we let anyone who wanted to come in do so up until the minute. I understand you are closing up and wanting to get the kitchen clean so you can leave- I get it. I would get frustrated when people come in right at close, but we were there with plenty of time to order and have the food prepared by 9pm. I wanted to call to say this to management to avoid a public bad review but there is no phone number to be found. I hope you train your staff to do better and value the people coming in and giving good business and generous tips."
"I just do not know what is happening to the service industry. This bar does not have the ability to cook the food in the actual bar, they make it somewhere in the hotel and walk it over with a cover. The fries were cold so we asked for fresh, second ones came back colder. Having worked for Mountaineer and other services industries I was trained on and expect the product to come out as it is supposed to. But the manager approached us, did not introduce himself, did not offer apologies, first words were “I just made that myself, it’s fine”. So we challenged him to touch the food and he said “oh well yea I see what you mean”. We didn’t want a hand out and refused to take one. We want pride in your work, and for you to just do better. Fix it. You can afford to cook it closer and train staff to handle the public professionally."
"Met Lou Holtz and Rocky Bleier here in the hometown of Lou! Had some nachos and looked up and there was Coach just BSing with a couple guys. They were both SUPER nice and were willing to take a photo. Meanwhile, the nachos were okay and soaked up the suds well. The service was kinda poor as the girl mostly forgot about us."
