"Had a negative experience for the first time today and I love this DSW. There was an African American lady who I assume is the manager given her treatment towards other customers and employees. I went to do my return today and asked for a receipt to which she responded with “I already told you that you’ll get an email about a return”. I have always received a receipt for my transactions and since it is a new policy I just wanted to verify. The response I got was very condescending and aggressive. She behaves as if she is better than everyone else. I truly feel bad for those who have to work with her. She directly reflects on the brand and will make DSW lose business and customers. DSW do better!"

"Went on Sunday to get shoes to my son I put the shoes on my son I let him walked with them on and a black lady came to my kid to take the shoes off like if I was gonna stole it I really didn’t like that because I always buy shoes there and first time this happen to me and the way she was talking to me I was very unprofessional I think she was the manager I’m not sure I hope this lady can change her actitud so disrespectful she has"

"I needed a pair of flat shoes for walking. The first place I thought of was DSW, but I tend to forget about this location and it’s literally less than 1/2 mile away. There’s always a great selection of styles & sizes. The Customer service @ checkout is always great. My only hang up is the “No bag thing.” Since NJ decided to do away with plastic, many retailer just let you walk out with your merchandise in hand; I hate that and refuse to pay a penny more for a bag. These shoes aren’t inexpensive, therefore “Give me a bag without me paying or asking!” I’m just saying, professionally it’s a better customer experience."
