"The associate that assisted me here today, lacks common sense, decency and quite frankly embarrassed me over her own stores ill decisions. I returned an item today (12/26), that was purchased 6 days ago and wrapped until Christmas (yesterday). Today is the day after Christmas and it did not fit the intended recipient. The associate immediately would not allow me to return it because she smelled it and decided it was used. The item was originally 250$ and marked down to 30$, not on clearance, BY THE STORE. If they felt it was in disrepair then it should have been on clearance/unreturnable or not sold. Evidently, there was a reason the price was so low, unfortunately unlike the asinine associate, I did not smell the coat before purchase because that is not normal . Quite frankly, I believe she is racist and agist. She also tried to police my tone and words because she was wrong. As a loyal customer, this was very disheartening and uncomfortable experience so i’m making sure her management trains her on customer etiquette."

"I just enjoy coming to this spot. I may go in just to browse but leave with a new, reusable tote filled with treasures. Just went there to see the Halloween decor, and they did not disappoint. Will be back for sure."

"I bought a Steve Madden luggage bag, they ran around looking for a rage for the bag which was very suspicious. I finally bought the bag and the bag was faulty, the zipper broke when I put clothes in it. I came to return the bag and apparently they gave me the wrong tag for the bag and they told me that the tag doesn’t match the item so I can’t receive my money back??, very poor customer service tbh"

"I enjoyed shopping at this store, and at one point I was impressed by one manager how he treated his employees with respect, and ever so often I would hear him praise his employees for doing such a great job. My daughter applied 3 times for a job at this place, and was denied. They told her to applied at Marshall's, and whatever store was associated with TJMax. So today I I went into the store to do some shopping, and I happened to meet one of the managers. I asked her if they were hiring? She said yes! But when I told her my daughter had applied 3 times to this store why wasn't she hired,she stated she cannot say. The majority of employees there are Hispanic, about 95%, So I called corporate and filed a report. This an equal opportunity place of employment, and there's no reason why my daughter cannot get a job in this work place. After I filed the report I call the manager up and let her know what I did, and its simply wrong what they are doing choosing one race over the other when it should be equal opportunity. I don't where people lose their humanity, but I hope something will be done and set things in place."
