"Having large nodules on both sides of my thyroid I was referred to Dr. Liu. I was given several choices on how to proceed, with the final decision being mine. After discussing each option with Dr. Liu I made the decision to have a total thyroidectomy. Dr. Liu was extremely sensitive and compassionate. He is an excellent surgeon. "Dr Liu first saw me in June of 2016 for a lump on my parotid gland. He watched it for several month to see if it changed in shape or size, he did a biopsy, and we did an MRI. Again we waited, and watched for changes, to discussed options, such as surgery and all the risks and we finally, 20 months later, agreed to go forward with the surgery, dr Liu performed the parotidectomy on, Feb 2017. It was the right and best decision. I felt good about having dr Liu as my surgeon and today i have no regrets and no longer have to worry about that tumor becoming cancerous. Thank you for an excellent job done Dr Liu, and thank you for going out of your way to help me through the recovery process, and for being there for me when I needed you! Carol"
