Reviews of Village Bagel Company
"This is always my go to place for bagels or a breakfast sandwich. It’s always so good and so worth it every time. Today, however, i tried calling to place an order and had to hang up because the girl taking my order wasn’t listening. Then when i ordered online, i thought it would be better. I was wrong. We ordered jalapeño cheddar bagels and didn’t get those even though it was listed on the receipt. We also ordered a doggie bagel and paid for it and never got it in our order. We expect this every time we order so it’s fine. Just disappointed that this stuff keeps happening and seems that the management has done nothing to resolve reoccurring issues."
"Visited Village Bagel Company today and learned they were under new ownership. Usually not an issue with that but the quality of bagels has gone from excellent to extremely poor. The new owners don’t seem to care about keeping things the way they used to be and in an attempt to do things totally differently have ruined what once was a fine bagel establishment. I found the bagels to be over baked and almost stale like day-olds. I’ll give them a month or so before I try again to see if they got their stuff together but otherwise I won’t be coming back."
"Ordered 2 bagels and a coffee, waited 20 minutes for the sandwiches and could only fill my medium coffee up halfway since there was no coffee brought out within the 20 minutes of me waiting. Poor everything. After all that the sandwiches had plastic still in them. I believe the shop is under new management and they really need to figure it out"
"My dad and I came in for bagels and picked out two bagels on display. We sat for 10 minutes and then the lady in the back with the curly slicked back pony tail came out to tell us that they didn’t have the bagels we chose that we saw on the display. When I told her we saw them on the rack she pointed to someone that just walked in that had a bag of bagels in his hand and said well he just took those bagels. I was confused because we had been sitting for almost 10 minutes waiting after we placed our order. When I expressed this she said well they just brought it out attention. She refunded our money and didn’t even apologize. It was the laziest way I’ve ever seen an employee handle a tough situation. I’m an understanding person but Better customer service is defiantly needed here."
"Love this place and the awesome women who run it! They definitely have some unique and strange flavored bagels but the quality is always spot on and delicious. Every time I visit the area I have to come here for the Lox breakfast on an everything bagel. It is served with a side of house made bagel chips that are awesome. Sometimes they can run a little salty but still very tasty. The portions are huge and you will never go away hungry. If you’re picking up bagels it can be good to know that if you get half a dozen bagels you get one extra for free, if you get a dozen you get two extra bagels for free. If you’re looking to break the traditional mold, try the Dutch apple crunch or French toast bagel. Very unique and tasty if your craving something sweet. Definitely worth a try. Come on out and super a great local, woman owned and run business."
