"All around pleasant experience! John and Trudy are friendly and attentive to their customers. Large drink/food selections. Cozy atmosphere on a cold winter day. Will be back soon and recommend to others."
"This is a must stop cafe! Homemade soup and sandwiches plus flavorful coffee that will leave your tastebuds More than satisfied. Plus gifts to buy perfect for the holidays and more. #upstate #secretspot"
"Really great spot for breakfast or lunch! It’s super cozy and welcoming, which matches the owners perfectly. I was greeted by the husband who kindly showed me their menu to look over while he prepped my coffee order. Afterwards, his wife took over the register while he went to make my sandwich. She and I chatted for a good 10-15 minutes before I took my seat and the mushroom and Swiss sandwich was brought out. The sandwich was great! As was the coffee. This place is definitely a nice spot to come, do school work or read, all while grabbing a coffee and bite to eat. The owners treated me like I’d been coming there for years (but it was my first time!). 10/10 would recommend, and I know I’ll be going back!"
"That coffee place takes the cake when you need somewhere calm and inviting to sit. I can’t help but feel the need to try every single latte flavor on the menu because I know I will never be disappointed here. The chicken Caesar salad wrap is to die for, actually, everything here is. RUN HERE. Don’t walk."
"Would give this place a 5 star but honestly no one is really perfect and there’s always room for improvement even if you are perfect. With that said, this little coffee shop is absolutely a hidden gem in Binghamton NY!! Now driving to get there was a bit nerve wrecking. The surrounding area appeared to be a bit questionable. We pulled up and parked on the road. As soon as we stepped in, we were welcomed like we’ve been coming there for decades!!! The owners were unbelievably nice. They gave us a quick storyline of their coffee shop history. The shop had little gifts displayed for ones shopaholic’s addiction. They have mugs, clothing, holiday baskets, artwork and many more. It was so cute and quaint. The massive windows are definitely a nice thing to have when you are sitting at their table and enjoying the delicious food and hot coffee looking out to their neighborhood. The shop has a few patio tables outside and inside has two floors of tables to sit and relax. I ordered the To Bean or Not To Bean Burger - vegan. I’m not vegan but this was absolutely delicious. The burger was made so fresh. All the vegetables were amazing. Nothing was wilted. The spinach, mushrooms , guacamole, everything was fresh!!!! I loved it!!! My husband ordered the Ham Club Sandwich and he enjoyed it. My husband stated that the sandwich was such a large portion that he suggested cutting the sandwich in half and increase their profit lol. He said it was fantastic. Location was a bit off from the turnpike for us but for the locals it’s probably the best location since it’s around the school and student housing. Service was a little slower for our pace but it was so worth it. Seriously it was worth it. Staff/ owners were fabulous! Menu had a bit of something for everyone pallet. Prices were outstanding. I thought it was worth more but I’m also the type that would pay too dollar for great food. Cleanliness was good. Keep in mind they are going through the transitioning from their old location and the front is getting a facelift as soon as the weather cooperates. Overall my husband and I absolutely enjoyed the food, coffee, ambiance and definitely the love you feel when you’re there."
