"I have been going to Maureen for upwards or 3 years and any feedback stating a lack of care for her clientele, only sounds false. Every time I come to her I leave knowing I had a productive time there, she listens to what you say and will tell it you how it is straightforward just the way it should be done. All 1 star reviews is coming from damaged good who cannot hear constructive criticism, she works with many people some of which I know and they all have had the same experience I have going to her. this is just my opinion but if you pay money for people to advise you on how to solve your problems odds are you are doing something wrong and will need to hear negative feedback from the person to change what needs change. THERE ARE TOO MANY PEOPLE in this profession sugarcoating advice and not being direct but still taking your money for it She has integrity is honest and a real professional when it comes to her job, and I will continue to go to her."

"I was seeing Maureen for a few months but never really felt like she was the right fit for me..a few months in it was all very clear she doesn't care about her patients and just sees you as dollar signs. I suffer from very bad anxiety as well as depression and my doctor suggested seeing a therapist. Maureen was the first person we found whom my insurance covered. I was seeing her regularly through an office near me. From the very start I felt like she wasn't a great fit, but I kept seeing her in hopes things might change..i wasn't sure if it was just the anxiety making me not want to go. But as time went on and she kept treating me like my problems with anxiety were a one size fit all issue..that I was afraid of something and not that my anxiety (that I've had since I was a young child..over 20 years of this..) is caused by some imbalance in my head, and that my depression was due to my low self esteem. While they may coincide, that's not the cause of my issues. But what really put me off was after she left the office I originally saw her at (I continued to see her at her own practice for a week or two, up until this happened) I had a complete breakdown. I was fearful of myself and what was going on in my head.. my mom didn't know what to do, so she called Maureen for some professional advice before taking me to our local crisis center. After hours at the hospital being evaluated and treated we returned home..and not a word from Maureen. Hours, days, and weeks went by and Maureen never returned my mom's call or reached out to me to see what was going on or how I was doing. We immediately canceled all future appointments and sought treatment elsewhere. I now see someone else, who you can really tell cares about me and my wellbeing and is NOT focused on the money."
