Reviews of Mango Tree Counseling & Consulting, LLC
"Mango Tree CC is the best! The consultation/discussion I had w/ Dr. Ramirez was so helpful for me to reflect on my own identity and think about how to best serve diverse patients in the future. 10/10 would recommend :)"
"Mango Tree CC is a wonderful organization and would highly recommend. The staff is extremely caring, professional and responsive. It is so valuable and instrumental to have a mental health agency of AAPI professionals that caters to the AAPI community. Beyond the clinical quality and care that they provide, their free monthly webinars are extremely helpful and engaging. They are intentional about the work they do which shows in the variety of services they provide and the number of topics they cover that directly affect our community. Internally grateful for everything they are doing for the community and myself."
"Mango Tree Counseling & Consulting has been exceptional to work with! We requested that Dr.Ramirez come and provide Education Consulting Services by speaking at our firm about the intersectionality of: why we're seeing a spike in racial rhetoric and crime during (and post) a pandemic world (c. 2020-2022+). The education session that was held was substantive, complete, and actionable. Participants (both AAPI and non-AAPI) understood the foundations and context of the current social climate, and walked away knowing how to be advocates for change - for and within - the AAPI community. Participants also walked away knowing how to apply steps to disrupt bullying if they are witnessing them play out in real-time in order to prevent or thwart escalation. Additionally, Dr. Ramirez was able to provide more context about the recent Asian Social Movement and other ways that people in general can support the Asian / AAPI community and AAPI organizations both locally in Philadelphia as well as broader across the United States. The session incorporated topic points from an intersectional lens of: class, race, s/o, g/i, disability + social psychology / behavior health / public health. Session size was over 100 participants & cost for the session was in-line with market expectations. Overall positive experience end to end, and internal feedback solicited within our firm - provided post the session - conveyed a positive and impactful outcome for participants."
"Noel Ramirez the director of Mango Tree Consulting impressively facilitated a group discussion with my organization's LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group composed of members in the United States and several African countries. The discussion allowed participants to thoughtfully express themselves and develop methods to support for each other as LGBTQ+ employees."
"Mango Tree, for me, has been an incredible experience because I have finally been able to see a therapist who can connect to and relate with my cultural background. Noel has really helped me effectively work through familial expectations, societal pressures, and relational trauma that have consciously and unconsciously adopted as part of my Asian and LGBTQ+ identity. I am thankful to have an organization that is dedicated to providing culturally competent mental/behavioral health care to the Asian/Asian American community where these topics are often ignored or stigmatized."
