"if i could do ZERO stars for summit psychological i would. actually, negative stars. i was a patient for 5 years. i suffer from major depression and have been having a hard time making my appointments.in the past year i have lost my soulmate, my grandparents, my aunt and my father is in hospice while i am his care taker. my doctor knows this. to say ive been having a hard time is to say the least of it. i have always stayed in contact with them though. the i was put into the psych ward and missed a treatment planning appointment. they sent me a letter saying i am being kicked out. i have left over 35 voice mails begging them to not cut my refills until i can find somewhere else as i obviously need my medication and i am can be a danger to myself without them on top of the insane detox you experience coming off psych meds. but they have never once returned my calls. not a single one. i finally got ahold of a nice lady after calling for weeks and she told me in my notes it said that they had a meeting (apparently?? because no one told me about this meeting) saying i can’t come back because ive missed too many appointments. when dealing with people with SERVE depression, you are going to have days where the can’t get out of bed. as a psycho business, you would think they would understand this. the lack of empathy is insane to me. they clearly do not care about anything but money if they are willing to throw a patient out to the wolves with no medication refills or help finding a new doctor. after five years!!! let me repeat myself, they DO NOT care about you. it’s all money. i’ve had 8+ new doctors in five years, they can’t keep anyone there. my last doctor told me to call the supervisor because they were marking me as no shows when i wasn’t. the lack of communication is insane. how do i call the supervisor when i can’t even get someone to return my calls??? when i was a patient i would leave multiple messages on there medication refill line to get my meds and they would never be filled unless i contacted the doctor directly, which they don’t give you the doctors numbers you have to sign up for some app to talk to them. it’s always the run around. seriously not worth all the money i’ve poured into their business. don’t go here. it won’t end well."

"I’m very puzzled about the negative reviews on here because they do not resonate with my experience at all. Dr. Melyssa Mercurio is fabulous with my son. She’s kind, genuine, and her expertise in this field is apparent. I highly recommend her to anyone with young children. Lindsay, as well as the other front desk staff I’ve encountered, make an effort to engage with my son in a way that makes him feel comfortable and supported. My family is also self-employed and therefore uninsured, yet they quickly accepted us as clients and provided a payment plan that is reasonable for us."

"This place needs to be shut down. No regard for human life unless they can scam you and your insurance by scheduling unnecessary appointments. I’m not paying a $35 copay for a 3 minute telehealth appointment every couple months. Now I’m dropped as a patient for “not making required appointments” and will not be able to refill prescriptions. If you value your life, go somewhere else."

"Became a client at this practice for med management. I have had to call to ask for my prescription to be sent twice now because I go to pick up my script only to find it was never sent to the pharmacy. So I called the med line Saturday and this morning still no response. Called the regular office to see if there’s something else I can do because I’ve been out of meds for a few day. Ya know change doctors, email them directly, etc something anything so this doesn’t keep occurring and am told that it’s unreasonable to expect a quick response from the med line as they are not available on Saturdays and that if I have problems I can talk to my doctor. Like that’s fine but what if it was a medication that would make me sick if I abruptly stopped taking and how do you suggest I contact my doctor directly? Wait till next appointment? I have another script refill before then will I have to call again to get that one filled as well. I have adhd and being unmedicated makes calling extremely hard and fills me with anxiety because I forget what I even wanted to say and paying attention to the response is hard. So I guess I have to find a new provider which is a shame because I’ve enjoyed this practice minus the fact they can’t seem to file my prescription. I have never dealt with this issue before but it should not be a hassle for me to get my meds. I see similar reviews here so maybe if the current case load isn’t being managed properly maybe summit should stop accepting new clients because it shouldn’t take days to get back to someone about their medications."
