"My wife and I bought a gift certificate online for my mother-in-law for Christmas. Paid via PayPal, received a confirmation email from PayPal and had the money deducted from our account. The certificate was supposed to arrive between the 1st and 5th of January. After my mother-in-law still had not received it by the fifth, I sent an email explaining the situation and asking for any information on the whereabouts of the certificate - no response. A week and a half later I sent another email once again stating the issue and asking for information - again, no reply. Finally had to file a complaint with PayPal in order to get our money back. While they may be a great place, you shouldn't do any business online with them and if you do, don't expect any form of response or care for your business."
