"I had therapist Kristen, and did not have a good experience at all. when i tried to talk about something, she would weave in information about her own life (that i did not ask for and did not want to know) and personal opinions about irrelevant topic matters. it felt like she did not respect my time or the money i was spending to see her. for example, i would discuss an artist that i found particularly interesting, and she would (multiple times) respond that she found this artist "whiny" and "annoying." additionally, she canceled frequently, claiming her kids sick, but this happened multiple times (at least 3) and i was only there two months. finally, she decided she did not want to spend any more time as my clinician (a decision i respect) said she would help me get connected with someone else, and never did, she ignored my texts after dropping me as a client. im extremely irritated that i wasted my time and money here and would recommend a different therapist if you choose to go here. I rarely leave reviews, but I am so distraught about going to therapy again that i wanted to at least share my experience so others could be aware."

"Charged us $120 a year later for out-of-network charges even though they are in network. The rest of the visits were in network with no issues. Balanced Mind never reached out to us to resolve the issue. I will fight this until I get my money back. Lesson learned to pay attention to the explanation of benefits."

"I had Christa boring as my counselor, and I can say without a doubt that this place is amazing. she is so helpful towards children that struggles with anxiety and other things, and her office always smells like vanilla candles. if you need help trying to figure out if this is the right place for you child, coming from one to another this place is most definitely the one to choose. it's very calming, welcoming, and ACTUALLY cares for the people. I would not be in the place I am today if it wasn't for Mrs. boring."
