"My kids and I were all patients when the practice was still Transformations. The practice was sold and we were not notified Dr. Wakim would be stepping down. When I told one of the practitioners I didn’t trust her due to an incident that occurred she tried to have me kicked out of the practice. My nurse practitioner died and for months I was not notified. I needed paperwork work signed and was refused-I requested an appointment with a psychiatrist to get a diagnosis on paper as I’m applying for disability and first got the run around and now haven’t gotten a call back. I’ve requested referrals twice in order to leave this practice and have gotten no response. They run the place like a business not a mental health facility and it really shouldn’t be this hard to talk to someone-I’ve been a patient for more than 5 years. If I had any success getting in touch with anyone directly I would never have posted this review."

"My adult daughter has been struggling with her mental health for a long time and finally agreed to seek help. She called New Directions in Wexford and was given an appointment for 7/25. When she arrived at the time of her appointment, she was not on the schedule and had to reschedule for 8/11. That day my daughter was evaluated by Casey E., who gave her an unofficial diagnosis of Autism and suggested my daughter should get an official diagnosis from a neuro psychologist. In the meantime, Casey E. would consult with her coworkers to find the most appropriate therapist within New Directions, so my daughter would be able to start counseling sessions asap. That was the last we ever heard from New Directions. My daughter called back three times in the past 6 weeks and was told twice, that a message would be sent to Casey and the office would call back to schedule. The third time, my daughter left a voicemail with intake, which was never returned. Zero communication, zero follow up after dropping an unofficial autism diagnosis on a person. Will not return or recommend."
