"Extremely insensitive. This was my first exam in a couple years. When he walked into the room, I was crying from anxiety. I have an autoimmune disease that is very painful and I mentioned that I hurt and that I'm anxious. He said,"I haven't even touched you yet." Im well aware. I JUST explained my condition is painful and that I'm anxious. He threatened to terminate the appt. At no point during appt was I asked if I could be pregnant, if I was trying to get pregnant or not, or was tested for pregnancy. I have abnormal bleeding and fibroids. He ordered a couple ultrasounds for this. He said if I didn't want to do the transvaginal ultrasound, I could just do the abdominal ultrasound because the transvaginal ultrasound would be for primarily viewing my ovaries and he said he wasn't too interested in my ovaries. Why not? There are other details I could complain about but it all boils down to him not communicating well, him talking about me to the nurse in the room vs talking to me about what's going on, not being thorough, and being confusing. If I could find another gyn with availability in my area, I'd be there."

"Witheld information about a high risk diagnosis that I had previously been told I wouldn’t be tested for. He never told me I was positive nor discussed the details of what it could mean. I didn’t know until I had my records transferred and my NP noticed that my timeline of knowing about the diagnosis was off by a year (I officially found out the following year with a new Dr). He also made inappropriate comments about my body by saying I “must be a free spirit.” Choose any other Dr besides this man."
