"This is not about Dr DeSouza directly but her Bala office manager. After attempting to contact the office ( first you have to hold on line thru Penn medicine - not office directly) to say I was in traffic and would be 15 mins late. I was having difficulty with my speaker on my car so g Byer couldn’t hear me. I kept trying to call back but they kept hanging up before I could switch it over to my phone. When I arrived They said they had to cancel my appointment. I explained I traveled a good distance and would be headed out of town for 7 months so really needed the appointment. While in the office I offered to wait as needed. They could see me at 3:00 ( instead of 11:00 as scheduled) but I said I have two grandchildren I’m babysitting and need to do school pick up so 3:00 wouldn’t work. I’m a four time cancer survivor and not having a yearly exam is scary! I think they cared more about their lunch break than me as a patient sadly. Guess I’ll have to find a new gynecologist in Florida instead so I don’t wait until next summer. Very disappointed with how this was handled. I’ve waited in my gynecologist office for hour(s) ( in waiting room and naked in exam room!) and sad they couldn’t fit me in considering the traffic circumstances which I tried to allow extra time yo get to."
