"I've seen Dr. Jones a handful of times and have since switched providers because of the reasons listed below: The office is cash/check only. Not a huge deal but does make things more inconvenient especially since my specialist copay is pretty high. My first visit with her was during a time when masks were mandated for medical offices. During the appointment she was talking about how the "mask police" were after her and she needed to be more careful walking around the office but in patient rooms she hasn't been wearing masks unless the patient insisted. Not a huge dealbreaker for me since she was willing to put it on had I insisted, but it was a bit of a red flag for a medical professional to have this attitude towards covid. She brushed off my concerns about endometriosis on multiple occasions and blamed my pain and other symptoms on a retroverted uterus instead. I have since had excision surgery with a different doctor (who I found myself after doing research on my own) which definitively confirmed stage 2 endometriosis. Maybe I would've found this out quicker had she taken my concerns seriously and helped me find a surgeon, but either way it's being treated now which is most important. The last birth control prescription they sent in for me wasn't correct. It took about 3 calls to their office over the course of a few days to finally get the correct prescription sent in (after the wrong one was submitted twice). 8 months ago I got a swab done in their office. They asked if I wanted extra testing and assured me it wouldn't cost me anything even after I explained that my insurance makes me pay 100% out of pocket for labs until I meet my deductible. With their assurances, I said fine to the extra testing. The swab was done on a Monday and they said they would have results LATEST by Friday. I gave them until the end of the day Friday and when I didn't hear back I had to leave a message. The following Monday I still didn't hear back from them so I called again on Tuesday. It ended up taking about 3 calls over the course of a few days to give me my results over the phone and get a prescription sent in. The icing on the cake (and the final straw which prompted me to write this review) is that I got a call from a collection agency this morning. Long story short, the overdue bill was for the swab done 8 months ago that they (a) assured me I wouldn't have to pay for in the first place and (b) were late in giving me results and meds and took multiple follow up calls to get what I needed. After multiple phone calls today between collections and Labcorp (I also tried to call their office multiple times but there was no answer despite them being open today according to their answering machine), turns out I never received a bill because the office submitted a handwritten form to Labcorp in which my name was spelled wrong, zip code was wrong, AND my street name was wrong. After learning this, I was able to call Laborb and have them pull up the bill, pay it, and get it removed from collections. Luckily for me, new rules were passed under the Biden admin stating medical debt under $500 no longer shows up on credit reports. However, had this happened to someone with a higher balance this could have wreaked havoc on their credit scores. Regardless, this was a totally avoidable situation had the handwritten form either been written clearer or double checked before being sent off - or if they used a computer instead and avoided the ambiguity of handwriting altogether. I would also like to note that had this whole collections fiasco not happened, I wouldn't have written a review on this practice at all and just moved on with my life. However I find this completely unacceptable and worth warning others about, so I also decided to add the other issues as well."
"I had my first appointment with Dr. Jones today in Ewing, and I can’t say enough good things about her. Prior to making the appointment, I had read reviews and got a mixed idea of what to expect from her, but I was not at all disappointed. She assessed the issue I came in for very thoroughly, and made me feel comfortable. She was extremely knowledgeable (40+ years of experience will help with that) and looked over previous testing I had done, noting that there were things that should have been looked at/for that weren’t, and ordered specific tests to figure my issue out. The questions she asked me were thoughtful and I felt comforted by her telling me that we would get to the bottom of the issue. She looked at the whole picture of my health instead of solely focusing on the GYN issues. In addition to that, she also provided information about how my existing physical issues were interconnected and played a part in the issue being addressed today. She suggested specific vitamins and gave instructions on what to do next. I was so relieved to have found a doctor who isn’t dismissive, who listens to what I’m saying, and who is so honest and personable. I am so grateful to have found her and to have gotten an appointment quickly, and I look forward to working with her as my new GYN. Highly recommend Dr. Jones!!"
"I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Jones. Long story short, I had some anxiety about a possible emergency and called to see if by chance I could get a new patient appointment. Dr. Jones called me back immediately and after we talked, she squeezed me into an early morning appointment for the next day. She was down to earth, personable, and made a visit that I didn’t want to have not so bad. I left feeling heard and my anxiety went down significantly. Overall great experience. I would absolutely recommend her and will be going back."
"I had an extremely positive experience today at Dr. Jones annual exam. My regular doctor retired and Dr Jones was recommended. SO GRATEFUL!!! I felt very, very comfortable ( though I cringe at a Pap smear exam). I felt like she was my doctor since day 1!!! Asked great questions, gave helpful information and really listened!!! 5 STARS TO Dr Eva Jones!!! ( I just pray she doesn’t retire now too!! Not so easy to find a diamond in the coal mines ). THANK YOU!! Felt comfortable and secure!! Appreciated you, your direct approach and education to my health!!!"
"The doctor is good. However, the office is not able to manage administrative topics such as scheduling the annual exam at the right time. They cancelled two appointments they confirmed, at the moment I arrived to the office, without any clear explanation. The pharmacy is not able to contact the office to refill a prescription, because the doctor has not changed the phone number in her prescription slip."
