"After relocating to South jersey from north jersey I was excited to find a women's wellness center however that excitement has slowly faded. Imagine being in an examination room and your blanket or cover is literally on the floor and the assistant to the doctor...once I brought it to her attention as she was about to exit the room...picked it up and tossed it on the bed and told me how to cover myself with it. Needless to say I had to look properly at her and told her that this was on the floor. She barely tossed it in the trash can..with most of the blanket hanging out. It appeared as if I was a bother to her. Made me wonder if that's how she treats all patients. This was not a good experience. Ruthie..if you plan on remaining in this profession please note that bedside manners is crucial regardless of how the patient appears. The treatment I received from you makes me wonder if that's how you treat all patients although I doubt you do. If you are suppose to be working in a relatively sterile environment how could you expect a patient to use an item you picked up off of the filthy floor? My interaction with Tyisha would give Virtua a 5+ star and my interaction with Ruthie gives Virtua a -5 star"
"I had a wonderful experience with this office! From the kind lady at the front-desk and the nurse who checked me in, to the doctor who i saw for the first time, everyone was extremely nice and very understanding. Dr. Bezton took such great care of me and was so gentle during my procedure. Such great staff and an excellent doctor, I highly recommend!!"
"I am not someone that writes reviews, that's how horrifying this was for me. I was seen here yesterday 3/30/23, by Natalie Bezgin and had the worst experience. I am 17 weeks pregnant and have only had 1 ultrasound. I asked a question regarding how my pregnancy was being monitored because my previous pregnancy was at another clinic in NY (Garden OBGYN they're amazing) and there I received an ultrasound and in-depth examinations at every appointment, which is how a lot of complications that I had were screened and early prevention was able to be implemented. Natalie Bezgin informed me that they do an initial scan and then an anatomy scan at 20 weeks. I asked how exactly is that sufficient monitoring because if they only provide two ultrasounds how can they determine what's going on in the pregnancy, if baby is developing okay, and there aren't any underlying issues. I was then told that they ask questions, i.e. how the patient is feeling, if anything has changed, any nausea, vomiting, bleeding, if there is fetal movement (which they don't expect until 20 weeks) and they also use a doppler to check for a heartbeat. So I said that this is surprising to me because if they are relying on patients to self-report what they're experiencing during the pregnancy and using a fetal doppler, how does this check for any issues such as a short cervix which I've had in my previous pregnancy and mentioned at my initial visit. Natalie Bezgin then told me that this is a group effort, front desk and MFM schedule appointments, it's my job to keep appointments and do what I'm told, and the providers will treat me, and that I need to pull my own weight. I was speechless to receive this response for asking a question that is a valid concern regarding my and my baby's health. Natalie Bezgin proceeded to tell me that I was going to have an additional ultrasound because I was a short interval pregnancy (previous pregnancy was 1 yr ago and the ideal gap is 18 mos before another pregnancy) and that I need to worry about myself since their routine 2 ultrasounds doesn't apply to me. I felt very minimized, my concerns were not addressed or even validated, and I'm still shocked at the lack of monitoring for both fetus and mom. Nonetheless, I was grateful that I was finally informed of the prenatal care that would be provided and knew that I would be switching offices because I need more than what they offer. I was completely shocked to see that Natalie Bezgin had written in my chart that I was "angry about not having ultrasounds, not compliant," and that she had to use "de-escalation techniques and therapeutic listening" to calm me down. Not once was I angry, that is not my demeanor at all. I just had questions and genuine concerns about what was being done at these visits because this is the second time that I had an appointment where I was seen for less than 5 minutes, and as a woman who has had complications in pregnancy this was really disheartening. And to label me as "angry" when all I did was ask a question, it makes me wonder how many other women she has done this to, and there is no way to leave a review for Natalie Bezgin on their site. I know this was put in my chart because the comments "pull your own weight" and "worry about yourself" were completely unprofessional and out of line and Natalie Bezgin was trying to cover herself before I could personally complain or say anything about my visit with her. Again, I am glad that I had this experience because it was the confirmation I needed to switch offices. Please do not come here for your prenatal care. You should feel comfortable asking questions about your treatment and be confident that your questions and concerns will be validated and addressed. As someone who is married to a therapist, what I received was far from "therapeutic listening" and if anything, the way I was spoken to would have escalated the situation had I in fact been "angry". I am really disappointed that this was my experience. Natalie Bezgin needs training on proper patient care and etiquette."
"I’m giving one star because Phoenix OBGYN used to be good. I had two nurse practitioners, that have since left, that were wonderful. I’m not able to even express how disappointed I was with the providers and the delivery of my twins. Incredibly unprofessional and traumatizing. Now, after 20 years, I’m treated like a number for routine visits. The practice has changed."
"This place is very inconsiderate and not at all patient friendly. It sure has gone hill since all the original OBGYN's have left. Not only did I call when I initially found out I was pregnant, already an established patient, but they tried to tell me I hadn't been there in years. I had to correct the receptionist. Once the mistake was acknowledged they were able to grant me an appointment at what they estimated to be my 14th week. I was not happy with this as most expecting mothers are supposed to have there appointments before the 8th week. The best they could do was put me on a waiting list. I called everyday for 2 weeks before I finally had enough and switched to a different provider who agreed that this behavior was unethical and unprofessional. It saddens me that this practice has become what it is today because it used to be a great personable and well respected place that you could recommend."
