I have a similar sentiment: after going through the process of enrolling in Medicare, I'll never make the mistake of becoming a senior citizen again. Fortunately my wife and I didn't have to do it ourselves; we had Doug Lubenow and Senior Advisors to guide us through each step and twist and turn of the labyrinthine process. And it's done: we're safely enrolled not only in Medicare itself but four different supplemental plans (medical and pharmacy, separately for my wife and myself). I can't imagine what an absolute nightmare this would have been if we had attempted it without the help of Doug and his staff. Knowing what forms need to be filled out at what point in the process and by whom, and which ones we mail in and which we submit online or take in person to a government office; when we need to make a phone call and what information to have ready; how to respond to a notice in the mail that we weren't expecting, it goes on and on. As the commercials sometimes say, don't try this at home. You really need a professional, and having recognized that need, I really doubt you'll do better than Doug Lubenow and Senior Advisors."
