Reviews
"I had an appointment with Dr. Kylee Clyatt scheduled two months in advance. When I arrived, I was informed that the doctor didn't show up for work that day, and no other doctor was available to see me. The receptionist couldn't reschedule because she lacked access to the OBGYN system, and the entire OBGYN department was absent that day, including their receptionist. No explanation was provided. The cardiology receptionist provided Temple Health's number for rescheduling. Upon calling, I discovered that my appointment with Dr. Clyatt was confirmed for that day at the 525 Jamestown location, but the office never bothered to inform me of the cancellation or tried to reschedule. I strongly advise against visiting this location as it was a waste of time, money, and caused emotional distress. Terrible service."
"I liked my Dr (Jeronis) but the admin staff made it to the point where I will never return here. I had a dr appt for April that I booked in February. I specifically asked if I needed to do anything in advance and they confirmed no. The day before my appt, I called to confirm and was told paperwork had been needed and the appointment could not go through as planned. I was very upset, because this is a stressful procedure and I was very anxious. The office support did nothing but have an attitude and say "I dont know what to tell you". Despite liking my actual doctor, I will not go back because it is just not worth the stress. *edited to add: I reached out to Planned Parenthood in a panic and they were amazing. Were kind, supportive, and helped me pick up the pieces and chart an easier path forward. Everything they did was clearly what Temple COULD have done instead of being rude, unkind, and unhelpful."
"I called 4x over the course of 2 weeks to make an appointment. Finally someone called me back on Monday to schedule an appointment. They couldn’t tell me what was available or even schedule me! They just required my insurance and said they would email someone who would reach out to get me scheduled. Two days later, someone called me to let me know thy there was no availability for 2 months and the procedure I am having done needs to be done way before this. Waste of my time. I have no idea why I wasn’t told this to begin with. Very frustrated."
"I want to make it a point to leave a review on my most recent experience with Temple OB/GYN. Now to be clear in the past I have had a wonderful experience with Temple in the birth of my two prior children. So when I decided to birth at home I thought using Temple as my back up would be the obvious choice. To be clear the lack of stars is due to one individual only and her name is Nurse Manager Stephanie Logan located in the fetal center on Broad St. I had spoken with an OB at Temple early in my pregnancy explained my decision to deliver at home but a need for a back up doctor in the event of emergency, blood work, ultrasounds etc. The OB agreed that was a good idea and would mark my file as such. We did some prelim testing and my file was to be noted accordingly with my birth plan. I proceeded to make an appointment for my 20 week ultrasound at week 12. Three days prior to my 20 week appointment I was left a message by Ms. Logan stating my appointment was canceled because there was no ultrasound script on file. I called back immediately and asked why this had been done. I had been told the notes stated I had moved on to other care at Penn. I explained to her that this was not the case and that Temple was my back up OB which meant some work had to be done in house i.e. an ultrasound. She said "o we have you are using a midwife". She said "o well you still need a referral" I replied my insurance does not require referrals so why would I need that. She then replied "o maybe I’m using the term referral to loosely you need a script. I told her fine I would have the script sent over ASAP in an attempt to salvage my appointment that she advised I would have to remake because she took it off the books. Within two hours I was in touch with my midwife who was able to fax over a script. I called back approximately 3:30 the same day. When I asked the woman who answered for the fax number she would not provide then proceeded to send me to Ms. Logan's voicemail who didn't bother to call me back until almost four pm the next day. At this point I made plans to get my ultrasound at another facility. I feel this was a total lack of competence on Ms. Logan's behalf. If the procedure is for Temple to cancel the appointments of people without even so much as checking with them first to make sure there are no discrepancies this should absolutely be revised. Ms. Logan could have easily left me a message to call back gained clarity and she could have had her script within two hours max! Instead she took it upon herself to cancel an appointment I had planned for months. She ruined my opportunity to share this special time with my other children. She caused me unneeded stress during and already sensitive time and because she was too incompetent to pick up the phone and ask some inquiring questions prior to canceling an appointment. Very disappointed her actions that reflect the Temple staff as a whole and I hope you all find some resolution for "Temple policy" as she so coldly stated on our call back."
"I really enjoyed my experience's here - being pregnant - and as a typical patient going for annual review care. Theresa is the nurse here, she is very playful, honest and fun. She was a joy to see every visit. Dr. Myers is also very cool, i always feel informed and comfortable and think these ladies make going to the obgyn a pleasant experience."
